Hormonetherapy

Hormone therapy, also known as endocrine therapy, is used in the treatment of hormone-sensitive cancers. It works by interfering with the body’s hormone levels or blocking the effects of hormones on cancer cells, thereby slowing down or stopping the growth of hormone-dependent tumors. Hormone therapy is commonly used in the treatment of breast cancer , prostate cancer and in other hormone-sensitive cancers , such as endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer.It is most often used along with other cancer treatments.
